Agronomy Manager

Crown Recruiting is thrilled to collaborate with a respected agricultural cooperative in the Charles City, IA area to identify a skilled Agronomy Manager to lead their Agronomy Sales Team. In this dynamic role, you’ll foster a mission-driven culture, hire and train Agronomy Advisors, and manage schedules and team performance. You’ll build strong relationships with clients, develop impactful sales goals and strategies, respond to inquiries, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless order processing while preparing sales forecasts and budgets. Agronomy Manager Responsibilities:

• Foster a mission-driven culture while hiring and training Agronomy Advisors.
• Organize schedules, manage territories, and oversee team performance, conducting timely evaluations and handling discipline as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with agronomy clients, coaching team members and identifying new clients through networking and cold calls.
• Develop and implement sales goals and strategies for the Agronomy division, leveraging product knowledge to meet client needs.
• Respond to inquiries, provide quotes and bid specifications, negotiate terms, and prepare contracts.
• Collaborate with purchasing and management to ensure accurate order processing and distribution.
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets while performing other assigned duties.

Agronomy Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Agronomy, or a related
• Minimum of three years of sales experience required.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Clean driving record and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL
• Proven sales and customer service abilities, including effective negotiation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
