Manual Machinist (Saw Shop) Job Details
Monday-Friday | 7 : 30am-4pm | $20-24 / hr
Overtime possible and mandatory
Manual machinist (Saw Shop) Requirements
Must have at least 1 year experience
Experience using band saw (1 yr)
Experience reading and working from blueprints
Experience with standard shop cutting instructions
Keen attention to detail / instructions
About the Manual Machinist (Saw Shop) Role
As a Manual Machinist, your responsibilities will include :
Safely operate shop equipment to cut metal materials using band saw and possibly other power tools.
Attention to detail, commitment to quality
Properly set up equipment using appropriate feeds and speeds, following instructions
Use of calipers-manual
Observe safety procedures, assure self and others safety and report any safety issues
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
