Position Overview: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and other services to corporate, leisure, and group clients. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting sales calls, and identifying new business opportunities to achieve hotel sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase hotel sales and revenue.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
- Actively seek new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and markets.
- Conduct sales presentations, site tours, and networking events to promote the hotel and its services.
- Manage the hotel’s sales pipeline and track progress toward meeting targets.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring that hotel goals are met.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure smooth execution of bookings and events.
- Monitor competitors' activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and client feedback.
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on trends and developments in the hospitality industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi).
