Foreman

· Oversee all team members in day-to-day operations. Responsible for ensuring quality of work and conduct.

· Interact with clients regularly, must maintain couteous and professional behavior.

· Use of hand and power tools and large equipment. Ability to work in all conditions and types of weather.

· Lawn mowing and trimming with proper striping and mowing patterns.

· Thatching and lawn aeration with appropriate clean up.

· Installation and removal of landscaping such as stone, mulch, and plants.

· Tree/shrub pruning, trimming, removal, etc.

· Dirt work: leveling surfaces, building up areas, etc.

· Transporting landscaping material and waste to the landfill.

· Traveling for field calls to bring parts or assist crew with equipment repair.

· Overseeing and assisting with equipment and vehicle maintenance and repair including power washing and clean up, oil and fluid changes, sanding and repainting, diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, blade sharpening, basic maintenance, etc.

· Fall clean up including raking and blowing leaves, winterizing machinery.

· Snow removal jobs include plowing, shoveling, and salting.

· Offseason work includes marketing, sales, writing training manuals and updated job descriptions, assisting with company planning for the upcoming season, prep equipment for spring, etc.

· Must abide by organizational values at all times.

· Report directly to the owner regularly throughout the season about potential issues, progress, and upcoming projects.

· Regular communication between owner and crew. As this position develops, communication will be key to ensure clear direction and instruction to crew and with clients.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis as well as perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to bending, lifting, digging, kneeling, planting and walking distances on variable terrain while bearing weight.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
