We have partnered with a well known and growing CPA firm based out of Orange County, CA. We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager with single audit experience to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary: The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and conducting Single Audits, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing valuable insights to improve financial processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Single Audits and a strong background in financial auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, execution, and reporting of Single Audits in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with federal program requirements.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and controls.
- Stay updated with changes in federal regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor and train junior audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CIA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting Single Audits.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
