QA DOCUMENT CONTROL SPECIALIST
The Quality Assurance document control specialist will be assisting in updating, and cataloging all procedures and SOP’s, document verification and maintaining the supplier verification program. This position will provide support to the Sr Quality Assurance Manager and Director of FSQA and will work closely with various company departments, vendors, suppliers and customers. The QA document control specialist will be responsible for highly detailed and accurate documentation of processes.
DUTIES:
· Validate and maintain the internal document control system.
· Collect and maintain files of the latest revision-level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes.
· Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
· Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.
· Assist Sr Quality Assurance Manager in preparation for external audits by compiling and organizing internal and external documents/information.
· Assist with internal audit implementation to verify compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Provide direct support to the supplier verification program (document collection and database updating).
· Perform data entry tasks.
· Perform various tasks assigned by Management to assist in meeting company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
· Knowledge of HACCP system
· Must have strong attention to detail and possess organizational skills.
· Strong problem-solving and analysis ability.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently.
· Ability to follow instructions (written and verbal).
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
· BS in a science-related field (Food/Dairy Science/Microbiology) or High School Diploma, GED or equivalent with at least 2 years of quality assurance experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
