Packaging Lab Supervisor

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This position has a starting base salary range of $85,000 -$90,000 (based on experience).

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities):

The primary roles of the Lab Supervisor is to manage lab technicians, maintain lab test schedule and work with project managers in set-up and review of testing needs. 

• Communicate with Lab Technicians on daily tasks.
• Maintain packaging lab test schedule and chamber schedule.
• Training of Technicians on updated new tests, processes, standards or methods.
• Communication with Project Managers and Sales to maintain current and accurate lab schedule.
• Assist in the set-up and operation of environmental chambers for testing.
• Keeping track of lab supplies needed for testing.
• Test set-up approvals.
• Test worksheet approvals as needed.
• Monitoring equipment calibration status as needed.
• Performance reviews of Lab Technicians.
• Assist Shipping/Receiving area as needed. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

• Minimum Education requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or the sciences 

  Prior Employment Experience: 2-5 years experience in lab environment or engineering role, preferred 

  Other Skills required (computer, language, etc): Microsoft Office Suite
