Crystal Home Care is hiring and immediately in need of filling the open position of an Compliance Officer Consultant for our home care office located in the Des Plaines, IL.

Responsibilities of Compliance Officer:
- Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs aligned with Federal and IL state regulations for home care.
- Thorough understanding of Regulatory knowledge and Monitoring of federal and all compliance policies in IL and cook county including IDPH.
- Regularly review and update compliance policies to ensure alignment with current regulatory requirements
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify and resolve compliance issues promptly
- Provide comprehensive compliance training and education to staff on compliance matters, including fraud awareness.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop, review, and revise compliance policies and procedures
- Serve as a primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters, overseeing reporting and resolution processes.
- Random spot checks to ensure compliance on care giving.
- Conduct mock surveys and help staff prepare for the survey and renewal of licenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 10 years’ working experience in a Home Care setting.
- At least 3 to 5 years of home care compliance/IDPH regulatory experience and/or long-term care setting.
- Certification in Home Care Compliance and preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 4 per week
