Shop Foreman
Seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to knowledgably oversee installation of truck equipment; snow plows, sanders, dump bodies, stake beds, parts and accessories, to make and follow a schedule. Must have an ability to lead and follow through on jobs coming in and leaving the shop.
Working with the Service Manager to regulate and line up technicians with current, next and jobs on hold to maintain shop flow.
Thoroughly inspecting projects throughout the build to guide technicians and ensure completion before sending to paint or detail.
Giving a personal run through of work performed and a how-to of operation with customers upon pick-up.
Maintain housekeeping, organization, and safety within the shops.
Work with technicians to further their skills.
Must have the ability to motivate and get the most out of all employees while maintaining quality.
Qualifications include:
- Basic computer skills; including being familiar with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work long hours
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to work and improve shop efficiency
- Multitask while staying focused on detail and accuracy
- Pass pre-employment 4 panel drug screen
- Truck building experience
- Hydraulic repair and installation experience
- Electrical experience
