About the role:
We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team, with the opportunity to work both from our vibrant downtown Bradenton office and remotely at one of our client locations nearby. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, along with a solid grasp of accounting principles. Attention to detail is paramount, along with exceptional communication and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Excel is a must, and strong interpersonal skills are highly valued.
Position Responsibilities and Required Qualifications:
Accounts Payable: minimum 3 years (Required)
Associate or Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
Accounting: 3-4 years (Preferred)
SageIntacct/Bill.com Experience (Preferred)
- Process and prepare the accounts payable functions daily.
- Prepare daily cash projections and process transfers between bank accounts, including the recording of daily bank activity in the general ledger.
- May assist in bank reconciliations for accounts that do not touch accounts payable.
- Book recurring journal entries such as (download sales, prepaid expenses, payroll expenses, depreciation expense, and monthly accruals).
- Ability to provide accounting services to multiple companies and organizations simultaneously.
- Travel locally to client sites or other offices required as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Communicate with third parties and clients to support the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements by the accounting team.
