Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting the overall HR strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of HR practices, including FMLA, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and other relevant labor laws.
- Support affirmative action planning and maintain records to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop training programs that enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as ADP and Paychex for payroll processing, record keeping, and reporting.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Provide guidance on employment labor law issues to management and employees.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels to foster a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Paycom preferred
- Proven experience in an HR generalist role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations including FMLA, OSHA, and affirmative action planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to develop training programs that meet organizational needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
