We are seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to oversee all engineering and maintenance functions at a leading dairy production facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in plant operations, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead & Develop - Manage and mentor a team of engineers, maintenance managers, and supervisors to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Optimize Maintenance & Reliability - Oversee predictive/preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset lifespan and minimize downtime.
- Drive Capital Projects - Plan and execute capital and expense projects, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Enhance Operations - Identify opportunities to improve productivity, safety, and operational efficiency through innovative engineering solutions.
- Vendor & Compliance Management - Source and evaluate contractors/suppliers and ensure regulatory compliance across all plant activities.
- Continuous Improvement - Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
- 8 years of engineering or maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment (dairy experience a plus).
- 1 year in a management role leading teams in a plant setting.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with capital projects, budgeting, and environmental compliance.
- Expertise in PLC programming and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
