The CSKT Fire Management is seeking a Prescribed Fire Operations Manager to oversee the development and implementation of prescribed fire plans, manage fuels, and prevent wildfires on tribal lands. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of wildland fire management principles and practices, including red card qualifications as a Firing Boss (FIRB) trainee, Single Resource Boss (CRWB, ENGB, HEQB, FELB), and Incident Commander Type 5 (ICT5). They will also be responsible for managing fuels and vegetation on tribal lands to reduce wildfire risk, working with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards, and collaborating with other agencies and organizations to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

- Oversee the development and implementation of prescribed fire plans in collaboration with tribal land managers and forestry professionals
- Manage fuels and vegetation on tribal lands to reduce wildfire risk
- Work with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards

Qualifications
