We are currently seeking a highly skilled and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee and manage our procurement operations, supporting our manufacturing processes.

Job Description: The Purchasing Manager will take the lead in managing all procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, parts, and equipment essential for production. This role requires a strategic approach, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to build and maintain supplier relationships while optimizing procurement strategies for both efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with production goals and company objectives.
• Oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of raw materials, components, and equipment for manufacturing.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost fluctuations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to forecast material needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with company policies, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
• Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance purchasing processes.
• Proactively resolve supply chain issues such as delays, quality concerns, or pricing discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations to continuously improve procurement practices.
• Develop OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to enhance and streamline purchasing processes.
• Implement and optimize ERP systems related to purchasing and inventory management.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Alternatively, 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven success in supplier negotiation and cost management.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address supply chain challenges effectively.
