The Accounting Clerk II performs a variety of moderately complex financial tasks which may include preparing, processing, reviewing, and maintaining various records, files, and reports, and entering data. Utilizes clerical and accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem-solving skills to ensure success in performing Shop Floor processing and closing functions on a daily basis with a strong attention to detail.

Job Overview
The Accounting Clerk II performs a variety of moderately complex financial tasks which may include preparing, processing, reviewing, and maintaining various records, files, and reports, and entering data. Utilizes clerical and accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem-solving skills to ensure success in performing Shop Floor processing and closing functions on a daily basis with a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Gather all production paperwork from designated folders each day for prior day production, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday production on Mondays, and separate paperwork by SKU.
- Run Shop Floor Report Serial Lot Details and reconcile to production sheets to determine any variances and determine root cause of variances with production personnel and supervisors and implement corrective action to correct variances.
- Complete Input Sheets in Excel for each Shop Floor production run and calculate yield and examine for accuracy.
- Reconcile materials scanned into WIP in Macola to assess reasonableness of inventory and roll weights when applicable.
- Run SQL Shop Floor Reports for each SKU production run and reconcile stages of production, materials issuances, WIP and Finished Goods.
- Research inventory and price discrepancies with production personnel.
- Run Contribution Reports for each production run to reconcile and research all discrepancies and adjust final report for findings. Distribute weekly CM report summary.
- Post and close all final Shop Floors and record any notes for variances and discrepancies.
What we need from you:
- Education – High School Diploma. 2-yr degree in accounting is preferred (4-yr degree in Business, Finance or Accounting a plus).
- Experience – 1 year of related work experience in a Clerical and accounting position, or combination of experience and education in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Excel, MS Office, and other computer applications, with experience in Exact Macola a plus.
- Excellent communication and administrative skills.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Ability to meet all assigned deadlines, including working occasional weekends during peak periods to close shop floors for period end or physical inventories.
