Tier 3 IT Specialist

At CTMS LLC we deliver premium IT managed services and compliance solutions to clients across various industries. We’re seeking a talented Tier 3 IT Engineer with deep experience in Windows Server environments, strong networking skills, and a passion for scripting and automation. A successful candidate will also have experience managing Azure resources and Microsoft 365 environments.

Key Responsibilities

·      Provide advanced technical support for Windows Server infrastructure (2016/2019/2022).

·      Manage and maintain Azure-based services, virtual machines, and resource groups.

·      Administer Microsoft 365 tenant configurations, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.

·      Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting tools.

·      Configure and support core networking infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, Firewalls).

·      Collaborate with Tier 1 staff and escalate complex issues as needed.

·      Assist in system upgrades, cloud migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.

·      Maintain system security, compliance, and monitoring solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

·      3 years in a Tier 2/

·      3 technical support or system engineering role.

·      Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.

·      Hands-on experience managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

·      Proficient in scripting for automation (PowerShell strongly preferred).

·      Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing/switching).

·      Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

·      Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or equivalent

·      CompTIA Network , Security , or Cisco CCNA
