Labor Scheduling Specialist

Role

This role is responsible for planning, developing, reviewing, adjusting, communicating and coordinating effective weekly schedules considering employees’ availability, store needs and labor cost, to achieve the operational efficiency planned.

• Collaborate with operations management to forecast demand and plan schedules accordingly.
• Utilize systems such as HotSchedules for tracking employees availability and developing schedules.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address any scheduling conflicts.
• Analyze data to identify trends in demand and assure the staff needed.
• Monitor the ongoing schedules and inform about changes.
• Follow up the time off requests.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Reports directly to the Director of the company.

What we require

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in scheduling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, on site (Austin, TX. 78734).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
