The Regional Manager of Business Development is responsible for delivering and managing the strategies and services of the regional BD department within the company. Direct involvement in the new and continued business development with clients. In conjunction with the Practice Area Leadership, evaluates the timely adjustment of Business Development strategies and plans; recommends changes in philosophy and policy when such changes serve the best interests of the organization.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related Business or Administrative field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or 10 years’ experience in Business Development/Sales environment.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, able to handle stressful situations and multi-tasking, able to work under time constraints, long hours may be required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Overtime (40 hours) may be required as needed. Must be able to travel. Mid to heavy travel (as needed).
Work Environment
Must be able to handle stressful situations, multi-tasking, and working within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets. Will work in a normal office environment.

- Maintain/Develop new and existing relationships with clients.
- Client Management.
- Support individual sector leaders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Works closely with Practice Area Leadership in the development of strategies to identify and develop new clients as well as maintaining existing relationships.
- Works with colleagues to develop a comprehensive month-by-month calendar of significant dates.
- Establish a presence with area and sector specific contacts.
- Write, contact and pursue opportunities with new client bases.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings, conferences and conventions
