Job Title: HR Generalist
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist with payroll experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job titles, and compensation details.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of HR and payroll processes to identify and address any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, including policy interpretation and benefits inquiries.
- Maintain employment files and ensures I9s are current as well as accurate
- Uphold compliance with federal and state regulations surrounding employment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce.
- Excellent understanding of labor laws and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle adverse situations and/or tight time deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency
