Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer 2 in Tucson, AZ. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $32/hr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.
Our customer is the largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world.
A Manufacturing Engineer at TPG will work on an agile team that will help develop best in class tools and processes to develop world class Mining machines. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with both design teams and operations to ensure safe and effective processes
- Support Electrification product and technology initiatives through completion of risk assessments and development of safe job procedures to ensure team member success in operational execution of testing and validation activities.
Typical task breakdown:
Work with Safety, Test Engineering, and Shop Operations to develop procedures to ensure safe and efficient machine testing and maintenance at Caterpillar’s machine Testing Laboratory.
Conduct Risk Assessments
Develop Safe Job Procedures and facilitate the process from origination through r review to publication
Maintain process document links and data in dashboards
Document Client Requirements
Research New technologies.
Document and Deploy solutions that help our clients develop world class products.
Review Process Breakdown to understand Root Cause
Develop Corrective Actions the resolve longstanding issues
Interaction with team:
To be effective the candidate will need to be able to work with all levels of the organization.
Work environment:
Prospective candidate should be comfortable working in an office and around both the maintenance and running of large mining equipment.
Education & Experience Required:
- Engineering or Technical background
- 2 year minimum experience
- BA Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Technical Equivalent (nice to have)
- HS Diploma or equivalent
