DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Meritor in Florence, KY.
Job Summary:
Use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. Responsible for analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations to improve the organization's Supply Chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Analytical Support: Offer analytical assistance across various functional areas to enhance decision-making.
- Process Tools Proficiency: Utilize common process tools and information systems for comprehensive supply chain analysis.
- Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and reliability of all analytics and reports.
- KPI Analysis: Interpret Key Performance Indicators to pinpoint improvement opportunities and formulate action plans.
- Six Sigma Participation: Engage in Six Sigma and other supply chain improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
- Systematic Reporting: Employ existing business systems to generate analytics and reports that are consistent and reliable.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Minimal to intermediate level of experience required.
Core Responsibilities
Designing and implementing methods to gather and manage supply chain data
Reviewing and analyzing data to locate areas in the supply chain process that need improving
Using the results of analyses in order to improve the overall performance of the supply chain process and reduce costs
Requirements
MS Office (particularly Excel and MS Access)
Strong Analytical skills
Attention to data detail / Verifying data
Preferred
Background in ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems (AS400, Oracle, etc.)
SQL developer
Knowledge of MRP systems
Knowledge of Forecasting and Safety Stock systems.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $65,600.00- 98,400.00
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
