We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Director of Residential and Clinical Services to provide clinical oversight, case management, and staff supervision in our residential program for youth with mental health and behavioral disabilities. This individual will be responsible for fostering safe, therapeutic treatment environments within the assigned units by offering appropriate supervision, support, and accountability to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical services and ensure the delivery of high-quality care for youth with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor staff, with a focus on recruiting, training, and addressing conflicts constructively.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes healing and personal growth for youth.
- Collaborate across departments to meet the needs of the residential program while promoting a team-oriented and dynamic work culture.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) required.
- A minimum of five years of direct clinical work with children and adolescents.
- At least three years of supervisory and administrative experience in a human services setting; experience in residential treatment is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical work with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff, provide constructive feedback, and oversee recruitment and training.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delegate effectively, and maintain a focus on the bigger picture while ensuring high standards of service.
