Role Overview:
As a Packaging Specialist, you will be an integral part of the cannabis packaging process, working under the guidance of the Packaging Expert and Packaging Team Lead. This requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will assist in fulfilling sales orders, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the packaging team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the packaging of tested inventory based on sales orders, following instructions provided by the Packaging Expert and Packaging Team Manager.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements throughout the packaging process.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete packaging tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the Packaging Expert or Packaging Team Manager.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance packaging skills and knowledge.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging and record-keeping.
- Assist in inventory management, including counting and recording materials used in the packaging process.
- Support in conducting quality control checks to ensure product integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Packaging Expert or Packaging Team Manager.
