Job Summary:
The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for all HR activities of the company. They will lead and direct the human resources and employee relations functions at the facility. The manger will provide strategic HR leadership to the management team, while executing administration of several HR functions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human
resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
· Serve as a liaison between employees and management. Engage and interact actively with employees to improve the work environment and build team morale.
· Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex,
specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute
routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations,
investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
· Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring
of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles;
collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for
openings.
· Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and
incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
· Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development
opportunities for employees.
· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and
recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in
human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Education and Experience:
- Education- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications-SHRM, HRCI, or CHRP preferred.
- Experience - Minimum of 3 years of senior-level Human Resources experience
- Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and personnel information systems.
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Law and Government — Knowledge of employment laws, legal codes, government regulations, and agency rules.
Work Environment:
· Office setting in a manufacturing environment. Temperature controlled in the office.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Finger dexterity- The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to type on a keyboard.
· Oral Comprehension — The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
· Vision- ability to see details at a distance and at a close range.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Position Type | Work Schedule
Job Type: Full Time Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30am to 5:30pm, overtime and weekends as needed.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 based on education and experience.
Travel Required: 10 % or less depending on business need.
