We are a leading healthcare provider seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our team at the CURE Distribution Center in Spring Lake, MI.
Job Summary:
This salaried position is responsible for supporting supply chain operations, managing inventory items, and implementing inventory control protocols. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to work closely with purchasing, shipping/receiving, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective procurement and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Placing purchase orders, tracking, and receiving inventory on a routine basis.
- Allocating inventory to the correct areas within the warehouse.
- Collaborating with purchasing and shipping/receiving teams to meet hospital demands.
- Resolving inventory, purchase order, and invoice issues with warehouse and accounting departments.
- Conducting regular inventory counts and drafting reports documenting counts, discrepancies, and statistical data.
- Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements for inventory control.
- Gaining proficiency in Odoo ERP software to perform basic purchasing functions and maintain accurate inventory.
- Selecting reliable and cost-effective suppliers.
- BUILDING positive relationships with suppliers.
- Ensuring timely and quality procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Complying with regulations, such as handling hazardous materials.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma and at least 3 years of related work experience are required.
- Purchasing and/or inventory control experience in a hospital setting or equivalent equipment/materials management experience is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, marketing, or a related field is also preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and Zoom.
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
- Previous ERP software experience is a plus.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
