CURE International Children's Hospitals is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations.
About the Position:
You will be responsible for managing inventory items, supporting daily inventory & logistics operations, and implementing inventory control protocols. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Place purchase orders and track inventory on a routine basis.
- Collaborate with purchasing, shipping/receiving to meet hospital demands.
- Resolve inventory, purchase order, and invoice issues with warehouse and accounting teams.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and draft reports documenting counts, discrepancies, and statistical data.
- Gain proficiency in Odoo, our ERP software, to perform basic purchasing functions and maintain accurate inventory.
To succeed in this role, you should have high school diploma and at least 3 years of related work experience. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, marketing or related field is advantageous.
- Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in purchasing and/or inventory control in a hospital setting or equivalent environment.
- Strong database and spreadsheet skills.
- Experience with ERP software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
