Job Overview:
As an Insurance Verification Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring patients have active, billable insurance coverage to receive necessary products. Responsibilities:
- Perform basic insurance verifications to ensure coverage for new and existing patients.
- Work with team members to help locate billable insurance for patients across the United States.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in the improvement of insurance verification processes to increase efficiency.
- Learn and apply problem-solving skills to resolve basic insurance issues.
- Demonstrate a willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
