What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Lighting position at Current Lighting?
The Current Team is comprised of dynamic professionals who possess entrepreneurial spirit, know how to serve the customer and work collaboratively. Our team is focused on driving speed and simplification to enable big wins in the marketplace. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for successful execution of defined project support tasks as allocated by the Director.
The PM will lead as the logistical interface for strategic Current customers and ensure that customer commitments are being met through Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR). The PM will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Quotes, Application Design, Commercial Services, Field Services, and Supply Chain leaders to provide an exceptional service experience for Current's largest and highly valued customers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of project implementation from initial inquiry through closeout, ensuring all customer deliverables are completed on-time and within budget
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop accurate project scopes and proposals
- Prepare detailed project quotes, including cost estimations, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate all project activities, including design, order, shipping, installation, and programming
- Proactively monitor scope to ensure what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope management
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure project designs meet customer specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate pre-install meetings with contractors and support during the installation phase
- Maintain schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed per committed dates
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks
- Prepare information and presentations for regular reports and project status meetings; present information to customer, the team and internal leadership as needed
- Establish and maintain project administrative files and records, providing document control support for customers and project stakeholders
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues to build and maintain lasting customer satisfaction
- Provide program management to streamline project execution, enhance productivity, and drive standardization as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in project management

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $68,000-$80,000.
