Payroll Specialist
Curry Construction, Inc. is looking to hire a payroll specialist. This position is responsible for managing payroll processing for Curry Construction and it’s two sister companies, ensuring employees are paid accurately and timely by calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, maintain payroll records, and adhering to all relevant tax and payroll regulations.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee payroll records
- Collect, enter, and file work orders
- Reconcile work order information to the timeclock information in the system of record (HH2)
- Track wage garnishments and 401k employee contributions
- Process weekly payroll checks and direct deposits using SAGE/Timberline ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company, state, and federal wage and hourly compensation laws and policies
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll-related issues
- Make weekly, monthly, quarterly payroll tax deposits for child support, withholding tax, and unemployment tax
- Generate payroll reports and tax documents as needed

Education:
- Associate’s degree in business or other relevant field
Experience:
- Payroll processing experience
- Experience with HH2 and/or Sage/Timberline a plus
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: In person – office environment
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday; 40hrs/week
- No travel
Pay: Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 – Pay is negotiable based on experience
