Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations at Curry Guys, ensuring smooth processes, adherence to health and safety regulations, and exceptional service quality.
- Design and update menus featuring a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, naan wraps, and street food-inspired items, tailored for a quick-service model.
- Innovate on traditional recipes to create fast, scalable dishes that retain the bold flavors of Indian cuisine.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to introduce limited-time offers, seasonal menus, and promotional items to enhance customer engagement.
- Manage inventory, sourcing fresh ingredients and specialty Indian spices, and control costs while minimizing food waste.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and fully compliant kitchen environment to meet all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in food preparation during peak hours or special events as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, preferably in a QSR or high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional flavors, with the ability to innovate for a fast-paced, scalable menu.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience in menu planning, food costing, and kitchen operations management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail in food presentation and quality.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the management team and provide a great experience for guests.

Pay: $18.48 - $19.59 per hour
