RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Our Hood River office is looking for an experienced full-time Residential Project Manager to join our team. The role of the Project Manager is to oversee and direct multiple residential construction projects from conception to completion. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience and 1-2 years of construction management experience. Some of the tasks and responsibilities expected are:
· Implementation of an in-depth project plan in order to schedule deliverables and meet estimated costs, including issuing and processing subcontractor agreements and project work agreements
· Maintaining practices and polices requiring on- and off-site construction activities are monitored for compliance with building and safety regulations (OSHA)
· Managing subcontractor schedules, deliverables and quality of work
· Ensuring Project Superintendents are coordinating and directing work performed by employees and subcontractors
· Responsible for answering questions and resolving issues on projects that cannot be handled by other project staff
· Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
· Managing internal processes for communications between office and field staff, i.e. change orders, ordering of materials and finishes
· Reviewing project status on a daily/weekly basis
· Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status
· Reviewing and approving project invoices and communicating with the subcontractors to resolve discrepancies
· Resolving any issues that arise with city and county officials
· Coordinating and communicating with the customer in a professional manner
Applicants must have an advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods with an expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
