Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team at CUSTOM FIRE APPARATUS, INC. This role is crucial in ensuring our fire apparatus and rescue squads operate at peak performance. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire apparatus and rescue squads.
- Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Assist in the installation of fire alarm systems and low voltage components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding system functionality.
- Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the manufacturing or emergency services industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in electrical systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
