Custom Machine Works/Teeco is a leading provider of Industrial Wash Machines and soap, specializing in high-quality washing machines and equipment for a variety of industries. We are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team and contribute to the maintenance, repair, customer service and enhancement of our Industrial Wash Machines.
Job Overview:As a Technical Specialist for Industrial Wash Machines, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, troubleshooting, and servicing of our industrial washing machines. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to provide technical expertise and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues. This will be a 40-hour a week job, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 4:00pm) and some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial washing machines, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure all equipment meets safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical support to clients for machine installations, setup, and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to test and implement new features, designs, and improvements for wash machines.
- Review and analyze performance data to identify and address recurring issues or inefficiencies.
- Document technical processes, repair logs, and maintenance schedules for internal and client use.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and assist with creating training materials.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and maintenance techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical certifications or an associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 3 years of experience working with industrial equipment, mechanical systems, or related machinery.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and PLC programming.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices and best safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to evolving technical needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
