FRONT DESK MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Requirements:
✓ Professional attitude and appearance
✓ Proficiency with computers and Electronic Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record systems.
✓ Proficiency in English and Spanish a must
✓ Experience in medical field is required
✓ Fast learner, precise, organized, detail oriented and efficient worker Duties: ✓ Answer telephones, manage calls and make appointments
✓ Check in and Check out patients. Request and send Medical Records, Check and get Labs results, Imaging report , or any other test results an upload in the EMR
✓ Verify medical insurance coverage, obtain referrals & authorizations for patients
✓ Maintain appearance of waiting room and front desk area
✓ Order supplies as needed from vendors
✓ Assist with minor medical billing (collection of co-pays, coinsurance and/or deductible at time of visits)
✓ Call patients 24 hours prior as appointment reminder/confirmation
✓ Scanning of documents into electronic medical records
✓ Assist medical assistants when necessary
✓ Filing and copying
✓ Further duties to be defined Compensation Commensurate with experience ✓ Full Time
✓ Hours Monday - Fridays 08:00 am to 4:30 pm or closing
JOB REQUIREMENTS
