As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will serve as the business lead driving the vision, creation, development, and management of key short- and long-term strategies that support hiring across the enterprise for pharmacist talent. This role will allow you to be seen as an innovative thinker, by successfully building and implementing a wide variety of approaches for a multi-faceted recruitment strategy to include conferences, college relations, diversity strategy, referral programs, recruitment marketing (social media) and more. This position is a highly visible and impactful role, interacting with senior leaders and affords you the opportunity to highlight vision, collaboration, strong operational expertise, team development, execution, and results.
You will accomplish this by:
Successfully creating relationships internally with primary business groups and externally with clients such as colleges of pharmacy, international student contacts, immigration, government affairs, and vendors
Creating operational processes and structure that your team can follow to make them efficient and effective with hiring top talent
Defining recruiting metrics that monitor the overall health, performance and effectiveness of the team and processes that impact the enterprise
Improving candidate pipelines for all open positions, through a dedicated team and by leveraging innovative sourcing channels
Managing financials for recruitment strategies inclusive of national organization partnerships, residency expansion budgets, campus support
As the Director of Talent Acquisition, your success will be determined by the efficiency and speed in which we identify and hire talent, how the team operates and interacts with clients and your internal team, in addition the candidate experience TA (Talent Acquisition) provides prospects. Your ability to be a self-starter, with experience building strong relationships and a passion for both the approach and execution will contribute to your success. In this role, you will direct and manage a team of talent acquisition managers and university relations managers, focused on hiring top talent within our Enterprise. You will operate in a fast paced, independent, yet supportive environment where the team works in partnership and inspires each other. You will also work with other groups such as our University & Diversity team plus the technology & recruitment marketing team to create effective recruitment and employment branding strategies to establish CVS Health as the company who is transforming healthcare in the marketplace.
In this role you will be an integral member of the Enterprise Pharmacist Talent Acquisition team, focused on pipelining pharmacy talent to fill roles that company leaders decide will make the most difference in our competitive advantage. This team is responsible for strategic capability that prides itself on developing strong networks, highlighting the CVS Health value proposition to external clients and engaging talent in roles that are critical to our business. The contributions you will make as a Director of Talent Acquisition will elevate the team around you and help find quality talent who wants to transform healthcare and help people on their path to better health.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 100,000
Maximum: 227,000
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.

8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting or experience in Human Resources
5 years of experience leading teams
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience leading a Talent Acquisition team supporting a Fortune 50 company
Experienced in all Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Teams
Outstanding organizational skills, specifically to ensure timely and proactive follow up with leadership and team
Innovative spirit with a desire to define and execute talent strategies
Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside of CVS Health
