What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at CXtec?
We are hiring a multifaceted Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team! In this role, you will be a key member of the team and be responsible for driving awareness and perception for CXtec, while also supporting sales. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing and will contribute to shaping the company’s brand identity and awareness.
The annual base salary range for this position, based out of Syracuse, NY, is $60,500 - $67,000. The actual salary offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications, and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the development and implementation of multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns, that drive sales, increase awareness, strengthen overall brand identity, and drive digital engagement.
- Oversee organic social media strategies across platforms, including content creation, execution, and analysis to ensure consistent brand storytelling.
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitors, collecting information and resources related to our industry that will inform brand strategy, product development, and marketing efforts via creating effective marketing material.
- Manage the development and execution of promotional campaigns, product highlights, and new business opportunities.
- Assist in managing brand events such as press launches, event activations, customer activations, and trade show engagement.
- Oversee the marketing calendar, coordinate with marketing team, and collaborate to find public relations moments that create brand exposure opportunities.
- Conceptualize and prepare digital content, including social media graphics, campaign images and ads.
- Design email templates for optimal conversion.
- Concept, design and produce collateral/campaign support materials and promotional items, including brochures, sell sheets, presentation templates, displays, packaging, logos, video assets, etc.
- Integrate work within existing creative and brand identities to support corporate initiatives.
- Ability to present to and collaborate with business unit leaders.
- Actively engage in in-house trainings to maintain a baseline knowledge of our products and services.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to produce assets as needed.
- Support special events, community activities, and sales contests as required.
- Assist with all relevant marketing activities.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of four years of marketing, social, advertising or hospitality experience.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively visually, verbally and in written form.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as digital creative programs and social media platforms.
- Ability to proceed with objectives with minimal supervision is essential.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the job and the company core values.
