We are looking for a motivated VP of B2B Marketing who is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for our B2B products and services, with a focus on account-based marketing (ABM) and web optimization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, increasing brand awareness and generating qualified leads for the sales team.
The annual base salary range for this position, based out of Syracuse, NY, is $150,000 - $225,000. The actual salary offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications, and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and manage the B2B marketing team, including hiring, training and performance evaluation.

Marketing Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the ABM strategy, using data-driven insights and best practices to target and engage key accounts.
- Collaborate with the product, sales and customer success teams to create and deliver compelling value propositions, messaging and content for our B2B audiences; develop [persona] messaging and collateral for key audience segments.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness and ROI of the B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives, using relevant metrics and tools.
- Oversee the web optimization strategy, including SEO, SEM, landing pages and conversion rate optimization. Maintain and upgrade web presence.
- Enhance industry position (including overseeing attendance at conferences, participation on key panels and increasing the company profile in key industry publications & rankings, e.g. Gartner).
- Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies and best practices in the B2B marketing space and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the technology industry, including with product and service sales.
- Expertise in ABM and web optimization marketing, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns and results.
- Proficient in using various marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM, marketing automation, analytics and web development.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative, strategic and analytical thinker, with a passion for B2B marketing and customer satisfaction.
