*Job Overview*
We are looking for a competent PC technician who is comfortable with both hardware and software. Cyber Haven provides assistance in most personal computer issues from OS updates, hardware installation, and all forms of PC diagnostic. Our technicians are often asked to help with a variety of other repairs they are comfortable with including cellphones, tablets and other personal electronics as well as occasionally intaking new devices and acting in a customer service role.
*Responsibilities*
- Diagnose and repair PCs and Macs
-Famliarity with software diagnostic preferred
- Communicate effectively with users to understand and address their IT concerns
- Manage computer hardware, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot LAN and computer networking issues
- Support IT infrastructure by ensuring systems are running efficiently
- Diagnose and repair cellphones, tablets and other personal electronics
- Answering phones and fielding technical questions from customers
- Attending to customers at our intake desk
*Requirements*
- Proficiency in computer management and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
- Experience in technical support and IT infrastructure maintenance preferred
- Ability to self-manage repairs and duties in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills to interact with end-users effectively
