Position Overview
The Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift will oversee manufacturing operations during evening hours, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This role will lead a team of operators and technicians, fostering a productive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the manufacturing team on the 2nd shift
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and work areas
- Provide training and support to new and existing team members
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production and resolve issues
- Prepare and maintain reports on production metrics and team performance
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the production process
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor on 2nd shift
- 1 years of Aerospace Manufacturing experience required
- Experience with EDM, CNC, Injection Molding, and tool design is a plus
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP standards is desirable
