The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industrial applications. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of control systems with mechanical and electrical systems, optimizing performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for industrial automation applications.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
- Collaborate with project teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving control system issues in a timely manner.
- Interface with electrical design engineers to integrate control systems with electrical designs.
- Document control system designs, changes, and testing procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in control system design and implementation in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI development, preferably with Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc, or ABB systems.
- Power generation experience preferred, no required.
- Experience with electrical design and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and their application in control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
