Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PLC Automation Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining PLC-based control systems to ensure reliable and efficient automation processes. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and technicians to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming and automation in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
Experience with major PLC platforms, such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi.
Strong understanding of control systems, HMI design, and SCADA systems.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet / IP).
Analytical Skills : Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis abilities.
Software Skills : Proficiency in relevant software tools, including PLC programming software, HMI design tools, and possibly AutoCAD for electrical schematics.
Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in industrial automation or control systems engineering.
Familiarity with robotics, motion control, and machine vision systems.
Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 61131-3 for PLC programming.
Experience with safety PLCs and understanding of machine safety regulations.
