Location: Remote

Salary: 175k-230k/yr 10% Bonus Equity

Position Overview

We are seeking a Director of DevOps to lead and scale our infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes as we continue to innovate in the CTV advertising space. This role will be instrumental in shaping our DevOps strategy, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high availability and security across our platforms. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, mentor teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to align DevOps practices with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire DevOps function, ensuring efficient infrastructure management and automation at scale.
• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless software delivery.
• Optimize and secure cloud-based infrastructure, implementing best practices for system reliability and performance.
• Drive observability and monitoring strategies, ensuring system health through tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Evaluate, select, and implement DevOps tools that enhance engineering efficiency and operational performance.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to integrate DevOps methodologies into product development.
• Mentor and grow a team of DevOps engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure, applying FinOps best practices.
• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring fast recovery and system stability.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in DevOps leadership, overseeing infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with hands-on experience in scalable, high-availability architecture.
• Strong proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash) to optimize workflows.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) with progressive deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary).
• Expertise in monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of security best practices (IAM, network security, secrets management, compliance).
• Proven ability to mentor, lead, and grow DevOps teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
