We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing structural systems of mechanical components for various projects. This role involves collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical structures and components using engineering principles.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations and models to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop and review technical documentation including design reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with ASCE, ASME, and other relevant standards and codes.
- Conduct site visits to assess structural performance and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Utilize MathCAD for calculations and simulations to validate design approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with ASCE and ASME standards.
- Proficiency in MathCAD and other engineering software.
- Knowledge of NOG and CMAA guidelines is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
