Production Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will lead a team of operators in a fast-paced environment, implementing best practices to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations including HACCP, FDA, and USDA
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity
• Manage and train production staff to ensure skill development and adherence to GMP practices
• Conduct regular quality checks and enforce SQF and AIB standards
• Analyze production metrics and identify areas for improvement using Six Sigma methodologies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in the food industry
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Familiarity with SQF and AIB standards
• Ability to manage and lead a diverse team
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred
