Bulk Cheese Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Experienced Production Supervisor professional wanted! Our client is a Cheese and Whey manufacturer based in Western Minnesota. The right person for this position will be able to lead a production team for the 2nd shift and oversee all the production. Position Requirements And Responsibilities

• 3-5 years of Production Supervisor experience in Dairy Manufacturing (bulk cheese & whey required)
• Supervise the 2nd shift of production
• Live within a 60-mile radius of plant in western Minnesota
• Company normally promotes from within

Compensation And Benefits

• Base Salary between $80,000-$90,000

I am currently working with a well-known food manufacturer that has been providing fresh locally processed, high-quality products for 30 years. They are actively searching for a Production Supervisor to add to their leadership team! They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, responsible for manufacturing, efficiency, inventory, safety, and maintenance for the department and shift, assessing needs and helping to achieve company and facility goals in collaboration with other department supervisors and management.

They have an excellent group of employees that are highly trained and now they are looking for a true leader.

Responsibilities Include

• Manage and coach the team to success, insure manufacturing productivity and efficiency for the shift.
• Collaborate with other night shift departments.
• Follow and enforce all policies and procedures, both company and regulator
• Ensure safety of all employees
• Trouble shoot and work with Maintenance team.
• Communicate with the Management team on shift performance and production, both planning and issue resolution
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Holds

• 3 years of supervisory experience in a cheese manufacturing facility (bulk cheese & whey required)
• Need to be highly motivated, have great communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform all manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity working with data management programs.
• Strong understanding of GMP's and Food Safety
