The Survey Crew Technician is responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting data, and assisting in the preparation of survey reports. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions to ensure precise measurements and data collection for a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys using GPS and survey equipment
- Perform topographic surveys and site layout tasks
- Collect and analyze geospatial data for various projects
- Prepare technical reports and documentation of survey findings
- Assist in construction staking and project management activities
- Utilize CAD software and AutoCAD for drafting and design purposes
- Ensure compliance with surveying standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members and project stakeholders to ensure project success
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Experience with GPS, AutoCAD, and CAD software
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles and practices
- Proficient in data collection and field measurement techniques
- Familiarity with GIS and geospatial analysis
- Prior experience in construction staking and site layout
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
