Position Overview

The VP of Accounting, Corporate Controller will oversee the financial reporting and accounting operations of the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP, managing the month-end close process, and leading the accounting team to support strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Manage the month-end close process and prepare timely financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead the accounting team in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset functions.
• Manage treasury activities and cash flow forecasting.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and implement any necessary recommendations.
• Develop and maintain ERP systems to enhance accounting efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial planning support to executive leadership.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Proven experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end close processes.
• Knowledge of treasury management and cash flow analysis.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
