Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the financial operations of In Time Tec and contribute to the financial management of our associated businesses.This is an on-site position requiring a proven leader with a CPA and a strong understanding financial systems, compliance, and strategy.Experience in the software industry is highly desirable.The ideal candidate will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.Key Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for In Time Tec and associated businesses.Develop and enforce robust financial controls and policies.Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to ownership and executive leadership.Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals while fostering their professional development.Support financial planning and strategic initiatives for smaller associated businesses.Stay informed about industry trends and advise leadership on potential financial impacts.Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and financial institutions.Qualifications :
CPA certification is required.A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.Candidates should have 8–12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in a Controller or similar role.Experience in the software industry is a significant plus.Strong leadership and management abilities are essential, including the capability to mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.Candidates should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate effectively with executives.Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, such QuickBooks and Excel, is required, along with knowledge of automation tools to improve workflows. ERP experience is a plus.An understanding of tax laws, audits, and financial regulations is also necessary.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude to contribute to the company's financial success.What We Offer :
