Job Title: Cloud Data Center Migration Lead / Application Architect
Location: Hybrid / Troy - MI (Need Local Candidates)
Job Type: W2 Contract / 5 Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer/Application Architect to lead and oversee the migration and consolidation of our client’s data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center migration planning (on-prem to on-prem and on-prem to cloud), cloud migration strategy (Azure, AWS, Snowflake), infrastructure (Windows Servers 2016-2019, Red Hat Linux, and VMWare virtualization), and troubleshooting complex, multi-system environments. Knowledge of HPE GreenLake is a plus.
Experience & Skills:
- Good GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) experience
- High expertise in Cybersecurity, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Strong focus on Data Centers
- Auditing and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) tools are standout skills
Role Requirements:
- Positions for Developer and Architect roles
- Previous experience in architectural development roles is beneficial
- Required programming skills: Java, .NET, SQL (Note: Not a combination of these technologies)
Key Expectations:
- Project management and team leadership
- Data center migration planning (on-prem to on-prem and on-prem to cloud)
- Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019), Linux (Red Hat), and virtualization (VMware)
- Knowledge of IBM FileNet, Oracle 19c, and SQL Server ecosystems

Following expertise to be achieved over 3 different Lead Engineers:
- C#,.NET Framework, Python, PowerShell - Windows Server automation and migration (e.g., SQL Server, DFS cluster), Bash, Linux administration (Red Hat for Informatica EDC, IBM MQ)
- Java: IBM WebSphere, MQ, and FileNet-related apps React/JS: Oversight of web app migrations
- SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL), Database migrations and queries (SQL Server 2016/2019, Oracle 19c)
