Job Description:

As a Help Desk Analyst /Video Support Specialist, you will manage and support videoconferencing operations, including scheduling and troubleshooting across a multisite video conferencing network. The ideal candidate will have experience with Polycom RMX, Resource Manager, and endpoints, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. The role requires strong professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and schedule videoconference requests; manage issues via telephone and email. (Last year, over 12,000 conferences were scheduled.)
  • Utilize Microsoft Office 365.
  • Assist with day-to-day management of videoconferencing operations for a multisite video conferencing network.
  • Use professional written and oral communication.
  • Work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Provide analytical and troubleshooting support for video endpoints and fiber networks.
  • Support conference room meetings, including point-to-point and multipoint (bridge) video teleconferences.
  • Provide limited audio/video support for management off-site activities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality for all videoconferencing activities.
  • Report operational and technical issues to managers.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

  • Experience with Polycom RMX, Resource Manager, Cisco infrastructure and endpoints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $20.00 to $40.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
